Technische beschrijving Animated Facebook shirt
The quickest way to meet new people is at (LAN) parties. Supposedly you can also do this while shopping. But it works best with the Animated Facebook Shirt!
The T-shirt is interactive: others (including yourself, of course) can simply press the Like button in the middle and the built-in module then automatically counts up. Because of the electroluminescent film, this is best seen when it is darker. By the way, you can find out exactly how this works in our blog.
By now, we are all conditioned to randomly press Like buttons, if only out of pity (sometimes 'like' is used synonymously with 'I feel sorry for you'. I'm sure you know this from one situation or another). This means that when you go out into real life, it can happen that strangers give you a like - their reasons are irrelevant, they will do it mainly because they can! Who knows what else will result from these interactions... ;)
But even after you have found the love of your life with the Animated Facebook Shirt, you will always find uses for it. Maybe even for a marriage proposal or at least for a challenge at a stag party.
There will always be moments in your life when a Like is worth a thousand words: make your promotion easier for the boss, let your buddies show you how quick-witted you are again and at some point, when you are carried to your grave and your inheritance is distributed, you will need the shirt for the last time ;)
The Like button and the display are realized by a soft plastic attachment, which is attached to the shirt with Velcro. The attachment is powered by a battery box that can be inserted into a pocket sewn into the inside of the shirt. The sequence is as follows: The counter lights up all the time as soon as the shirt has been switched on. After pressing the "Like Button", the "You and" also lights up and after approx. 2 seconds the counter increases by one (see .gif animation). This process is similar to what happens on Facebook when you click on "Like".
The Like Shirt can be switched on and off. Switching it off resets the counter.
