When the Order of Assassins was founded, one of the most legendary murder guilds of all time was born. The horror stories that were told about the hashish users still make the odd hair stand on end today. The Assassin's Creedvideo game series has cleverly taken up the myths and - spiced up with a pinch of sci-fi - lets the player slip into the roles of various assassins from the Middle Ages to modern times. Alongside the forearm blade, the ability to disappear into a crowd is undoubtedly one of the most important weapons in the arsenal of Altair, Ezio and co.
