Technische beschrijving DeLorean model Back to the Future III
The DeLorean DMC never really sold well. This was probably due to the fact that the trilogy Back to the future trilogy was only released in cinemas several years after production had stopped. In the beginning, the producers even considered using a fridge as a time machine, but the DeLorean just had too much charm!
Marty McFly: "Wait a minute, Doc. Ah... Are you telling me that you built a time machine... out of a DeLorean?"
Dr. Emmett Brown: "The way I see it, if you're gonna build a time machine into a car, why not do it with some style?"
Unfortunately, the real DeLoreans haven't been around for a long time (although there are still a few of them driving around, after all, stainless steel never rusts... but woe betide you if you drive a dent into it...) and for a real model you'd have to clean out the garage first anyway (if you have one at all).
But it doesn't matter, because after all we have the die-cast DeLorean DMC model with a scale of 1:43 from "Vitesse" for you and although this DeLorean from the third part is scaled down, you can still admire all the details. Flux compensator included!
Dr. Emmett Brown: "You'll have to forgive the crudeness of this model. I didn't have time to paint it or build it to scale."
Unlike the model of the Doc, this one is very detailed and therefore of course also equipped with the legendary gullwing doors, which can even be opened. Just like its big brother, the Mini-DeLorean is made of metal and comes in a window box. As it is not a simple toy, but a high-quality collector's item, it stands firmly bolted in front of a mirror. So you can admire it from all sides without having to unpack it. Of course, you are free to loosen the screw at any time and take your favorite car for a few laps on the living room floor, but be careful: if it breaks while you are playing, you will unfortunately not be able to travel back in time with this replica to repair the damage in the future ;)
