Technische beschrijving Scrabble light
You don't often have the luck of being able to place a ten-letter word in Scrabble. There's always something missing and eventually you end up with the unused X, which is worth eight points... This chain of lights not only gives you ten squares at once, you can also choose any letter you like! :)
Each of the ten glowing Scrabble tiles measures 6 x 6 cm and can be covered with any letter you want. The adhesive letters are supplied on sheets. Frequent letters, e.g. vowels, are available several times, rare letters such as W or X only once. So, "WAWAWAH" wouldn't work, but "GETDIGITAL" would ;) The letters can be reused, so you can always form new words. Of course, you can also make several short ones if you simply leave a stone free. But: "SCHWANZHUND" still doesn't conform to the rules and is too long anyway.
The only thing missing is the right place for the Scrabble light chain, which is approx. 180 cm long in total. Then there's another 200 cm of cable to reach the nearest socket. The tiles contain LEDs, so they are not energy guzzlers.
If you're still short of word ideas, how about LIGHTSABER, DOCTOR WHO, MATHEMATICS, INFORMATICS, BIRTHDAY, DARTH VADER...? We're sure you can think of even more. :)
