Technische beschrijving Tetris lamp
9 out of 10 voices in my head say I'm not crazy. The 10th hums the Tetris tune.
In most cases, playing Tetris once triggers an incurable obsession that spills over into other areas of life. Fortunately, years of Tetris experience can help, for example, to store the shopping in a particularly space-saving way (already on the checkout conveyor belt) and theoretically it would also help to tidy up your own room *cough*.
Tetris... the simplest and at the same time most ingenious game ever! If you think so too, you'll be pleased to hear that Tetris is now bringing light into your (soon to be tidy) room - as a Tetris lamp!
As is the case in Tetris, the individual building blocks each consist of four squares (one square is 4x4x4cm in size, so the 'L' block, for example, is 12cm high and 8cm wide). You can then use the seven blocks to create many different lamp patterns patterns. As soon as you have connected the blue brick (often affectionately called a stick) to the power supply and the switch is set to "ON", the built-in LEDs will light up brightly and your world will shine in Tetris splendor! But only if the bricks are touching each other, because a Tetris brick doesn't like to be alone and longs for others (and besides, electricity has to reach everywhere) ;) We have explained the details of how it works in the blog :)
