In an epic game like The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the right weapons are essential. But since Geralt of Riva doesn't just have to deal with ordinary normal NPCs, but also with mysterious monsters and magical creatures, he also needs two different swords.
He needs the sturdy steel sword for human opponents, animals and all other creatures that do not have a silver weakness. But as soon as supernatural creatures are involved, Geralt has to reach for the silver sword. It is well known that silver has magical properties that can harm monsters and magical creatures much more than steel.

The two swords that determine your survival and progress in The Witcher 3 are attached together on a ring. Now you can take them with you wherever you go and use them to overcome pretty much any obstacle, whether magic is involved or not ;)
