Anyone who spends most of their working hours at the computer is all too familiar with the associated problems: aching shoulders and wrists, cramped fingers, and in the worst case, tendonitis. To avoid this, an ergonomic keyboard is recommended, which places great emphasis on a natural hand position and considers the natural strength of individual fingers. The keyboard, unlike many other ergonomic keyboards, has 100% of the standard keys, including all function keys, while using only 60% of the space of a typical keyboard. The layout follows the familiar QWERTY standard, although some of the special keys are specially arranged - for example, the Enter key is within reach of the right thumb. However, the key assignment can be easily adjusted via third-party software. The shape of the keyboard and the arrangement of the keys prevent wrist twisting and reduce the distance of the mouse to the hands in their neutral resting position on the comfortably padded wrist rest.
The high-precision infrared switches use infrared light to register individual keystrokes. They provide a consistently pleasant and precise typing feel and allow for typing at lightning speed. Moreover, they are significantly less prone to wear than purely mechanical switches. These Tactile Silent switches feature a noticeable actuation point while being wonderfully quiet. Of course, the keyboard also features full n-key rollover and anti-ghosting.
Keys and switches are easily replaceable with the included remover. Four switches and keys are included as replacements. Additionally, the keys are compatible with common Cherry MX cross-mount keycaps.
The keyboard's keys are individually illuminated with LEDs and can be used either in pre-made profiles or configured individually and saved in custom profiles that can be easily switched with a keystroke. The brightness can be optimally adjusted in 10 levels.
