Description Amiga Startscreen
The Amiga 1000 was one of the most advanced home computers in 1985. It's hard to imagine, but its 32-bit operating system was only about 1MB in size and thus fit on 2 disks! By today's standards, it's more than astonishing that you could do anything with it at all ;)
The operating system was then divided into Kickstart (256KB) and Workbench (880KB). After booting with the Workbench disk, the Amiga could be used.
Later Amiga models had the Kickstart on ROM, but the Workbench disk remained and had to be used to boot the Amiga.
This shirt is a tribute to this great computer and therefore a must for every fan :)
