The Astro-Planetarium Deluxe brings the universe into your own four walls: Whether in the children's room for a great learning experience, in the living room for a cozy atmosphere or in the bedroom for romantic hours for two or a gentle and relaxed fall asleep - the Astro-Planetarium enchants and inspires young and old!
The Astro-Planetarium Deluxe can conjure up either a "normal" starry sky with 8000 stars or a starry sky with 61 labeled constellations on the room wall or ceiling.
Technically speaking, this works as follows: Hidden inside the silver sphere is an LED projector that projects the images, which are printed on 2 interchangeable slide disks, onto the wall or ceiling. The maximum projection size is approx. 1.8m x 2.2m at a distance of approx. 2m from the projection surface. The lens can be focused, which ensures that the image is always sharp. The projection sphere can also be rotated freely on the stand so that the projection direction can always be set precisely.
In addition to the features described so far, there are a few more highlights. Firstly, the projected images can be rotated by the integrated motor in order to follow the star trails (clockwise or counter-clockwise), and secondly, shooting stars can also be displayed at regular intervals.
The adjustable sleep mode (30 or 60 minutes) makes it possible to use the planetarium as a gentle accompaniment to falling asleep without consuming unnecessary power.
To make the whole thing even more realistic and educational, the date and time can be set via a dial so that the section of the sky actually visible at the set time is displayed (observed from 35° north latitude). For example, you can search for the constellations in the real sky and thus achieve a real learning effect!
The atmosphere produced by the Astro-Planetarium Deluxe is unfortunately difficult to reproduce in photos or videos, you simply have to see and experience it; the stars and constellations are presented crystal clear and beautifully without losing any of their authenticity. You almost feel as if you are looking up at the real firmament.
Anyone who has ever had the good fortune to gaze into space on a dark, clear night - away from urban "light pollution" and smog - pondering and dreaming (or has at least visited a real planetarium) knows the magic that emanates from the galactic sea of light. And to be able to experience this on your own living room ceiling is something very special indeed!
