Actually, it was said that the name of the Grey Wizard Gandalf was taken from the Edda, the collection of Old Norse texts. But now lost image material - namely this Sticker GandAlf - has come to light. It is clearly recognizable that the second part of the name is a hint at Gandalf's true origin. The famous wizard is actually an extraterrestrial life form. This probably explains his sometimes rather grumpy nature, his brilliant rhetoric, and the fact that you never see cats near the Nine Companions!
