Description CPU Wars 1.0 Trump Card Game

Thanks to the help of nerds and geeks as well as the internet project Kickstarter, Harry Mylonadis was able to realize his dream of creating his own card game.
CPU Wars is the latest development in the card game market. However, this version has been developed by geeks, for geeks and is therefore not about cars, but about the heart of electronic devices - CPUs (central processing units).
In the last 40 years, numerous processors have been brought to the market, so you will find some CPUs from your past in CPU Wars as well - with the additional information under the images, nothing stands in the way of nostalgia ;)
If you have already played numerous quartet games in your childhood, you can safely skip the following instructions for beginners:

  • Shuffle the cards and then deal them face down to the players (ideally 2-3). Each player is only allowed to look at the top card of their stack - and of course only for themselves.

  • Decide who gets to start first. (e.g. with a round of Rock, Paper, Scissors, Spock, Lizard)

  • The first player chooses a category and reads out a value (e.g. the year of release). Then the other players give the value of their card. Depending on whether the arrow points up or down, the highest or lowest value wins. The winner of the round gets all the cards and places them under their own stack. They may start the next round - with a new card.

  • If the values on the card are the same, the cards go to the middle. With a new card and a new value selection, it is decided who gets them

  • The one who holds all the cards at the end wins.

As with other quartet games, your fellow players don't need to know anything about the topic, in this case processors. So nothing stands in the way of a quick game, whether during a break or with snacks and cool drinks at home!
