Description Exploding Kittens card game (EN)
Watch out behind you! An exploding cat! Welcome to the Kickstarter success Exploding Kittens! In this card game for 2-5 players, the aim is to be the last player to be sent to the afterlife by the titular exploding cats. Cards are drawn in turn until someone draws an exploding cat. This player is eliminated from the game unless they "defuse" the cat with a special card. And what is the best way to defuse cats? Exactly, with laser pointers or catnip sandwiches!
Countless special cards also let you pass the ticking time bombs to your fellow players, look at the next card from the stack or attack your fellow players with back hair. Each card you draw naturally increases the chance that someone will draw a cat, so an average game of around 15 minutes is perfect for in-between games. Provided your nerves can handle the whole thing ;)
The artwork for the game was created by Matthew Inman, who is known for the webcomic The Oatmeal webcomic. Please note: All cards and the instructions are in English, but the rules of the game are so simple that basic knowledge is sufficient to enjoy the game.
