The Pallasites from the small Kenyan town of Sericho are among the most popular meteorites due to their optical appearance. Pallasites belong to the stony-iron meteorites, which make up only about 5% of all meteorites.
When cut open, an extraordinarily high number of large olivine crystals can be seen. A very special cosmic treasure!
