Description Milky Way as a Subway Network Poster
Do you sometimes dream of being able to travel through our galaxy? Just as easily as taking the subway to the next neighborhood!
The creator of the subway network for the Milky Way probably thought the same and came up with a route map for our galaxy.
We have printed this map as a poster. It looks just like a normal subway map with differently colored lines and a logo of the transit authority, in this case, the "Milky Way Transit Authority".
When designing the Milky Way as a Subway Network Poster, care was taken to reproduce the astronomical conditions as accurately as possible. Therefore, the lines also run in a spiral - after all, we are in a spiral galaxy. The stations are, so to speak, the "sights" of the Milky Way, such as the Orion Nebula, the globular clusters M13 and Omega Centauri, and of course our Sun.
