Description My Keepon
"Nerds have no friends" is one of those unspeakable prejudices that could never come true in the real world. The best example of this is My Keepon. This is an interactive robot that at first glance looks like two oranges and at second glance becomes the best friend of every tech-savvy person:
The cute creature was originally intended to study the behavior of autistic children, but a short time later, thanks to YouTube, the droll creature became a global star and confirmed once again that no other humans are really needed for an intact social life.
When in touch mode, the little guy responds to all kinds of direct contact. Whether you cuddle, pinch, shake or hit him - he responds to every action with a suitable reaction, which he also comments on with his half-robotic, half-animal-like voice: If he is tickled or lightly squeezed, for example, he "giggles" and wriggles happily; if he is treated too roughly, he "grumbles" and turns away in a huff. If there are several people on him, he will also register this. Once you have sufficiently studied his complex behavior so that his likes and dislikes are known, nothing stands in the way of a somewhat special but everlasting friendship.
Its fully mobile body, which can turn independently in all directions, not only allows you to engage directly with My Keepon, but also makes it the perfect dancer. When his caretaker switches to dance mode, all you have to do is expose him to the right music and the legless spherical creature euphorically swings his dancing leg. The style of its dance movements is clearly dependent on the chosen piece.
Of course, you could also give My Keepon to children, but this technical marvel will of course only develop its full potential alongside a true nerd ;)
