With this small device for the keychain, you can control TVs: It has many remote control codes stored and can try them one by one at the press of a button until the correct codes are found. After that, it is possible to turn off the TV, change the channels or volume, mute it, or switch between antenna and video signal.
It takes up to 2 minutes for the device to adjust to a TV. The detection works as follows: After pressing the button, the Ninja Remote sends the "Mute" codes for all known TVs. As soon as the TV to be controlled switches to "Mute," you must react, and the Ninja Remote then knows which TV it is dealing with.
Regarding detection, the following should be noted: Unfortunately, some TVs are not recognized, and it can also happen that some controls, such as volume, do not work. The comparable product TV-B-Gone has a better recognition rate but is also more expensive and can only turn TVs on or off.
The Ninja Remote is approximately 5.5x3x0.5cm in size and requires a CR2032 battery, which is included in the delivery.
