Some unwritten laws seem to run like a red thread through the history of humanity and have also left their mark on the SciFi genre. In almost every book, movie, and series, a small, wealthy elite exploits the poor majority of the population. This is also the case in the series The Expanse, which tells the story of humanity's first steps in colonizing space.
The OPA shirt has nothing to do with frail old men, but rather with the Outer Planet Alliance, which is fed up with living as second-class citizens and being oppressed. Different factions within the OPA, which rely on different methods, make it extremely difficult to assess the organization. Mars and Earth, of course, consider them all terrorists. So be careful where you wear this shirt...
