Not only will you amaze your friends with them, but you'll also keep your drink optimally cold.
Making the straws out of ice is very easy: you simply place the transparent plastic tubes on the protruding parts in the rubber mold (see additional image) and fill the mold with water. The freezer takes care of the rest. The plastic tubes ensure that the inside of the straws remains clear so you can drink from them. Additionally, it stabilizes the ice straw and prevents it from melting or breaking too quickly.
However, it looks like you're drinking from a pure ice straw because the plastic tube is hidden inside. With one mold, you can make 6 such ice straws at once.
By the way, the ice on the outside of the straw not only cools the drink in the glass like regular ice cubes but also prevents it from warming up on the way through the straw - a drink can't be cooler and more refreshing!
