Maybe Winnie always seemed a bit irradiated to you? If you don't remember the good-natured bear very well, let's summarize briefly: Bear of very little brain, floats around on balloons, sometimes gets lost in the immediate vicinity of his home for a long time, allegedly only feeds on honey, generally overwhelmed by everyday things, not to mention his friends who cover the whole spectrum of psychoses.
That definitely sounds like the abuse of hallucinogenic substances. However, we never saw Winnie smoking, which might not please certain giant corporations holding various marketing rights... So we must assume that there is something in the honey pots that gives Winnie his somewhat dull glow on his teddy face. And somehow makes him glow from within...
It's no coincidence that PU stands for Plutonium and as we all know, radioactive substances glow green. This simultaneously ensures the healthy yellow skin or fur color. ;)
