Description 3Doodler 2.0 special items
The 3Doodler 2.0 special items are refurbished by us. They may show signs of use, such as scratches or plastic residue, but are technically flawless. Instead of €99.95, you can therefore get them for the reduced price of €79.95. You may also receive a Limited Edition 3Doodler that is no longer available to buy regularly. The 3Doodler 2.0 is the new improved version of the old 3Doodler. This special printer pen can be used to draw all kinds of three-dimensional shapes. We have everything you need - you just have to make sure you have a steady hand. :)
These are the advantages of the 3Doodler 2.0 compared to its predecessor:
- The new 3Doodler is 75% smaller and now actually has the shape of a thicker pen. This allows you to work more flexibly and accurately.
- At the same time, the model weighs only 50 g, making it more comfortable to hold and reducing hand and arm fatigue.
- The housing is made of aluminum instead of plastic. This makes the 3Doodler more comfortable to hold and easier to clean.
- Power consumption is 50% lower.
- The fan is quieter.
- In addition to the two selectable speeds, you can also print continuously by double-clicking.
All in all, the 3Doodler 2.0 allows you to doodle more easily and for longer, as your fingers tire less quickly and your hand doesn't get tired so quickly. :) It is now also easier to shape small edges and corners.
The 3Doodler prints heated plastic, which is available in many different colors. A first batch of 50 colored rods is already included, but there are also many other colors that you can choose from. here here. There are two types of plastic, ABS and PLA, both of which have their advantages:
ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene copolymer) is particularly suitable for painting freely in the air, the material is soft and flexible. ABS is also good for doodling on a paper surface. ABS is not transparent.
PLA (polylactide) is harder and therefore better suited for long free lines without supports, as well as for doodling on smooth surfaces such as metal or glass. PLA is slightly transparent.
Depending on which plastic you are using, the 3Doodler must be set to the higher or lower temperature. The lamp shows you when the correct temperature has been reached: red means the 3Doodler is heating up, green means the temperature for PLA has been reached, blue means the correct temperature for ABS.
The 3Doodler 2.0 comes with a number of useful accessories. Of course, a power supply unit is included, the cable is approx. 2 m long and gives you plenty of scope. Another new feature is a special cleaning tool that allows you to remove paint residue from the device more easily so that nothing mixes. You can unscrew the nozzle with the small hexagonal wrench to replace it. A small screwdriver is also included to allow you to fine-tune the heat manually.
Here you will find the available accessories, in addition to the plastic refill packs, a pedal, a nozzle set with different strengths and a stand.
There are no limits to your imagination when doodling and you can draw in all directions. This creates unique three-dimensional objects. There are also video instructions and templates, e.g. for a small Eiffel Tower. :) Once you've got the hang of it - you'll need a bit of patience at the beginning - there's nothing standing in the way of works of art, jewelry, useful gimmicks and homemade geeky decorations.
