Practice makes perfect. No matter what you're talking about – sports, music, literature, basically every other activity – it's always good to start learning at a young age, especially when it comes to rather nerdy subjects like chemistry or other sciences. You don't have to build your own nuclear reactor or hack government sites, it's enough to own a decent chemistry set.
